Suggest Treatment For Cough And Nose Bleeds

Hi I would just like to ask if you think my Husband needs to see a Dr. He has been having a constant cough and trying to clear his thoart for at least a year now and he gets the odd nose bleed (every few weeks). His voice hasnt really changed and he does drink more than he should also. What would you recommend. Thank you

Hello,

As per your history, it may be due due to forceful coughing.

For that avoid forceful coughing and use cough expectorant.

In case of yellow phlegm you may require antibiotics and chest X Ray after consultation.

For dry nose you can use nasal saline drops. Use humidifier.

Along with that avoid hot and humid environment.
