Suggest Treatment For Cough And Sinus Infection

hi i have been sick with sinus issues. i am coughing and not really able to cough any mucus up. today my right sinus cavity hurts down to my teeth and when i cough and try to get the mucus out it tastes like cleaning medicine. i have not gone to the dr and just taking otc.

Sinus infections in general come after a viral or bacterial infection of the upper respiratory tract, so Sinusitis is a complication.
Usually patients with sinusitis, feel pain around sinuses, headache, heavy mucus discharge from the nose or behind in pharynx.

Treatment of sinusitis is made by a combined therapy of antibiotics and other drugs which remove the excessive mucus and ease the respiration.

So according to your complains I would recommend you!

- Clarithromycin twice daily
- Bromhexine three times daily
- Xylometazoline spray 3-4 times daily.
- Ibuprofen if you feel pain.

Meanwhile have plenty of water and liquids in your diet.
