Hi, I got colds almost 3 weeks ago and and had a cough too my cough is 2 weeks now and it really irritate me because of my itchy throat all through out the day and even while I am sleeping. I am 41 years old female, what medicine should i take? Is it ok if i ll take celestamine? Thanks
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of cough and sore throat which seems to be due to chest infection/ chronic upper respiratory tract infection. It could be due to poor immunity of body as well.
Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles. You should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get paranasal sinus x-ray done along with throat swab test and blood tests and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Take proper course of antibiotics. Avoid oily and sharp food. Drink plenty of fluids. Apply mist humidifiers in room. Avoid cold carbonated beverages.
