Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Is there any history of aspiration, like bouts of chocking all of a sudden while eating or playing? Such sudden onset and continues coughing is less likely to be from allergy / asthma, especially so because he is not responding to inhaler. Here we have to consider foreign body aspiration or a respiratory infection. Kindly get him examined with your pediatrician

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
