Hello Mold produces allergy and this allergy caused by mold produces bronchoconstriction and this causes whistling sound during breathing ( inhaling or exhaling ) , wheeze , shortness in breath . As mold cause allergy and allergy is a predisposing factor causing asthma . When such patient visit I advise my patient to take monteleukast+ fexofandine tablet one or two in day depending on the condition of patient and symptoms . I also advise my patient to take dextromethophan+ chlorpheniramine maleat + mentol cough syrup. If breathlessness also present ( shortness of breath ) I advise my patient to take monteleukast + bambuterole tablet in place of above mentioned tablet . Hot coffee and steam inhalation also provide instant relief. Hope this will help you. Good luck.
