Suggest Treatment For Cracking Sound In Shoulder When Rotated
Hi I have this pain in my Left shoulder, when i move my shoulder in a circle it feels like the bones are crunching, this pain is evan worse when sleeping often wakes me up. This came about 2 years ago when cleaning and scrubbing walls for like 4 days and seems to be getting worse.
Dear patient Pain in left shoulder with cracking sound on movement indicates arthritis of shoulder. Cracking sound is crepiitus produced due to rubbing of two articular surfaces when they are eroded. This needs to be investigated with Xray of left shoulder anteroposterior and lateral views to confirm diagnosis and mri of shoulder joint if required. Meanwhile start tab ultracet p twice a day for pain relief. You need to consult expert orthopaedic surgeon with Xray report. All the best.
