Suggest Treatment For Cramps And Spotting After Depo Shots

I am on depo, I get my shots in the right time phrase from my doctor every 3 months... my boyfriend and I have unprotected sex and he you know, in me a few times... this past week I have been cramping like normal period cramps, and today I have had slight bleeding not enough to wear a pad just when I go to the bathroom and all that... there will be some on the tissue.. is this normal with depo? I figured it was just time for my cycle so that s were the cramps are coming from.. the shot has taken my period away completely.. so I was thinking the cramps was just from what would be my period?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The use of depo does normally eliminate periods but in some cases can be associated with intermittent break through bleeding.

It can also cause intermittent pain in some persons.

You can consider monitoring your symptoms for now. The symptoms should decrease with time.

I hope this helps
