Suggest Treatment For Cry Du Chat In A 4 Year Old
I have a 4 years old daghuter who is suferring from cry du chat 5p deletion. She can not walk, speak and can't do any work independently. She does not have bladder and bowel sense. She is very hyper. what treatment is availabe and what r the chances of recovery. I am very much depressed she is my only child please help. I am from India Mumbai.

Children with cri du chat may be treated by speech, physical and occupational therapists. Heart abnormalities such as VSD,TOF etc often require surgical correction.Management of such disease needs multidisciplinary approach and is symptom dependent.but full recovery is however unlikely.thank you
