Suggest Treatment For Cyst In Bladder Causing Pain On Right Side

I ve had pain in my right side for about 6 months now. Dr. at first thought it was a UTI but nothing was really done. I recently went back and had a CT-scan and was told that it was a Cyst in bladder, and it should be gone in 5 days. I was told at the pharmacy when getting my medication that it most likely wouldn t be enough, as it was for 3 days, and if it was a cyst in the bladder it should be removed. I m not sure what to believe, and also don t want to wait to long if it gets worse, I m also told that a cyst in that area is really cancer...is that true? I m really freaking out about this, and it seems the Dr. s I go to just want to play the waiting game although it has been 6 months of this now.

Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, let me ask you, in event of a medical problem, do you rely on a doctors' treatment or a pharmacists' ??
A doctor undergoes rigorous training before starting practice. Later,he undergoes further training, before practicing as specialist.
A pharmacist is only trained to dispense medicines. Don't get confused.
A cyst is not the same as cancer, probably diagnosed by your pharmacist.
