Suggest Treatment For Dark Spots On The Face

Hi, i do have dark sports on my face. I am getting teatment from one and half year but not much difference than before. Now i want to go for laser treatment. I have visited a lasser surgery salon and they told me my skin will be all right after skin rejuvination treatment. Now i am worried shall i go for this or not. And if i want to take that lasser treatment how long shall i stop using skin lightening creams to avoid any reaction. Kindly help me out to resolve this skin problem. Thanks

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dark spots on the face. It seems like Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The dark spots can also occur due to side effects of certain medicine or sunburn. I would suggest you ointment that contains depigmenting agents like Kojic acid, glycolic acid and arbutin. It is safe for long term use and you can use it continuously till the pigmentation completely vanishes/fades. You can also take Vitamin E capsules as well as apply vitamin E gel at night and exfoliate your skin twice a week using a gentle scrub. You can also wash your face with Salicylic acid containing facewash. Drink plenty of water and always apply a sunscreen lotion when you go into sun. Take Vitamin C supplements.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
