Hello dear

Warm welcome to Healthcaremagic.com
I have evaluated your query in details .

* The colonoscopy per se would not give rise to constipation , this seems
functional disorder .
* Additional guidelines along with miralax to recover better

* Dietary measures to be considered are :

Drink plenty of liquids .
Consume high fiber diet with more of green leafy vegetables , whole grains , cereals , legumes , pulses , organic fresh fruits .
Avoid excess oil , ghee , butter , dairy products , non veg stuffs till possible .

* Life style modifications to be considered :

Regular walking , exercises , YOGA are must .
Avoid prolong fasting , over eating .
Manage timings of breakfast , lunch , dinners till possible .
Chew your food very thoroughly .

Avoid stress , anxiety .
If consuming alcohol , tobacco in any form has to be stopped .
Manage to have regular sound sleep of 7 - 8 hours .
Keep your blood sugar , cholesterol , weight under control .

Wishing you fine recovery .
Feel free to ask any further queries .

Regards .
