Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 62 year old male with degenerative disc disease and failed back syndrome. I take numerous pain meds for this, however lately, my skin (mostly on my hands) is withered and bruises and tears open very easily. Is this a result of the medication(s), or symptomatic of something else. FYI - my father had very similar issues but he was on daily doses of cortisone (this was 50+ yrs ago).
sir you will need to checkwith your doctor if the symptoms are due to the drugs , you have not written which drugs you are taking, failed back syndrome and degenerative disc disease can be managed by a pain specialist if surgery is no more an option. hope you heal yourself fast.
