Ok, realize limitations given you don t know me, but at this point I ll give anything a try. In reading over some of the post - don t feel my condition is as severe, but was diagnosed with DDD at age 40 - trauma induced. Now 51: MRI findings: Aligment of the lumbar spine is normal. The vertebral body heights are maintained. No fracture or suspicious marrow signal abnormality. There are multilevel disc degenerative changes characterized by disc desiccation and varying degrees of disc space narrowing Spohn plate osteophytes and endplate marrow signal alteration with findings most advanced at the L3-4 through L5-S1 as well as at the T11-12 level. The conus terminates normally at the T12-L1 level. NO abdominal aoritic aneurysm is identified. Findings at specific levels: Axial imaging begins at L1-2. As diffuse disc bulge at T11-12 with mild central canal narrowing. No neural foraminal narrowing, No central canal or foramina stenosis at T12-L1 on saqittal sequences. L1-2: Minimal diffuse disc bulge with minimal central canal narrowing. No neuroforaminal stenosis. L2-3: No central canal or neuroforaminal stenosis L3-4: Minimal diffuse disc bulge with annular tear and mild facet arthropathy. Constellation of findings results in moderate central canal stenosis as well as mild bilateral foraminal narrowing. L4-5: Diffuse disc bulge with annular tear, thickening of the ligamentum flavm and mild facet arthropathy combines to result in mild central canal narrowing and moderate bilateral neuroforaminal stenosis. L5-S1: Mild diffuse disc bulge with annular tear and bilateral facet arthropathy mild thickening of ligamentum flavum combined to result in minimal central canal narrowing and mild to moderate degrees of bilateral neural foraminal narrowing. Impression: 1. Multilevel disc degenerative changes with bilateral lower lumbar facet arthropathy, 2. Diffuse disc bulges are seen which is at L3-4 through L5-S1 with mild to moderate degrees of central canal narrowing and bilateral neural foraminal stenosis. Next, podiatry consult found my Vasc: palpable pulses x 4; non pitting edema to LE b/1 Besides DDD, I also have Lumbar Radiculopathy, Osteoarthritis, Chronic Low Back Pain. Thoughts?
