Hi... M badly depressed because of not getting periods.i used to have normal periods. From past 5 years, I stopped getting periods. I got periods on pills. First I took elestra, ginette 35.. Now krimson 35.but dis tym I dint get periods even after periods. I feel like dying. I belong to a small town.
1) You should undergo home pregnancy test after to rule out pregnancy if you are sexually active. conception.
2) In absence of pregnancy, other reasons of late period may be due to PCOD, ovarian cyst, hypothyroid state, over weight/ extreme loss, extra mental stress or anxiety, emotional upset, eating disorder, high prolactin.
3) You should undergo complete hormone profile (like LH/ FSH, serum prolactin, progesterone, thyroid, DHEAS, testosterone etc) and pelvic ultrasound scan (USG) to identify underlying pathology.
Review with test results or you can consult with local gynecologist. You may require combined hormonal pill to induce period.
Maintain genital hygiene, control body weight. Good luck.
