Suggest Treatment For Delayed Menstruation

sir good morning. i am 36 years old .my periods are always regular, i got married 1 year before. for the past 60 days period did come. when i was under folical study doctor told me to take evatone from fouth day of my periods and strone from ssecond day. pregnancy strip is showing negative. doctor told me to take mensovit. i took the tablet one week before. still i am not getting periods. what is the cause sir. kindly reply me.

Hello there,
Thank you for your question.
From your description it seems that you are planning for pregnancy. I do not understand why has your doctor put you on estradiol (evatone) and progesterone (strone) tablets if you are trying to conceive. Now the evatone and strone itself should have been sufficient for you to get a normal period. But given that you dint get it inspite of Mensovit and pregnancy test being negative there seems to be some other problem. You need to get some blood test like FSH,LH, thyroid functions, CBC and maybe a ultrasound scan to find the exact problem. Please meet your gynaecologist who can examine you and suggest any other blood tests if something comes up on clinical exam.
Till then do not worry as stress can worsen hormonal balance.
