Suggest Treatment For Depressed Feelings In A Child

hi my names sabrina im 13 years old and my brother is in jail i really miss him but i just dont know what to do . i cant talk to anyone about it .. im always sad and angry i brokdown 2 at school and then i couldnt go for a few days the teacher told my mum i should see a doctor. but i dont want my mum to know that im upset and that i cant deal with things. i cant cry in front of them i cry in my brothers bedroom. i want to go to the doctors for help but i dont know what to say. and if i did go and if they gave me something would they have to tell my family. please help.

I can understand your situation.
I would strongly recommend you take help of your family members especially your mother for this situation. They will be able to help you. Even talking to your mother and venting out your feelings may not change the situation but may help you to deal with it better. If this does not help then a professional help may be required. You may need psychological counselling and probably medications for depression.
