Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I'm 17 (male) and I have been off antidepressant (prescription, of course) since around christmas time after being on them for half a year. Now, everything seems to be coming back, and I would really rather not go back on the pills because I really don't like the feeling of not being in control or something affecting who I am ect. Do you have any advice? Maybe join a gym or something? Iv been having anxiety latley, and I'm afraid of "crashing".
Thanks for your query, in my opinion you can start by making a time table for you, do include morning walk or gym in it that will help you. Making a time table will give you less time to think about unnecessary things and will make you feel better. Also, doing some form of relaxation exercise, yoga or meditation will help you. Another thing that can be of help is to pursue your hobbies. In case things don't get better or you start having ideas to harm yourself, you should consult a doctor
