Suggest Treatment For Dermatitis

Hi, I am prone to skin allergy. Previous diagnosis by dermatalogist for eruptions / lesions resulted in Dermititis. This after he performed the biopsy of the eruption. I was told to take Dapson tablets for more than a year and still the problem persists specially if I am in India. I have observed that my skin has stinging bite sensation when a particular dust mite type of an insect bites. Several times I caught this insect but it is too late as the damage is done and there is stinging pain, itchiness and after involuntarily scratching, some times in sleep causes eruption, splitting of skin with bleeding and the scar remains even after the wound heals. How can i overcome this deficiency that causes my skin to react to this insect bite? My daughter is 3 years old and she too has this problem which my family thinks is due to mosquito bite but I know the lesions / eruption nature. I am now worried for her.

Hello..your problem seems to be papular urticaria with eczematous changes due to constant itching. The main solution is to keep yourself away from insects and mites, this can be done by wearing full sleeves clothes, applying mosquito repellant and use of net at night time especially applicable for your baby. You have to take tab levocetrizine 5 mg daily at night time so that u dont scratch the lesions as it will increase the dermatitis. apply topical mometasone cream over the lesions twice daily for 3 weeks. And after that with all the precautions mentioned your problem will be solved.
