Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea And Vomiting In A Kid
my friends 16 month old has had diarrhea and vomiting for almost 2 weeks went to ER last night got 500ml of IVF...and zofran developed a rash after zofran.Stonach is now distended and a little more so to LUQ. The stomach has not been distened before now.

Your concern and query is appreciated, the diarrheal condition could be due to viral infection and the rash could be due to allergens that might be in I/v fluid, if the rash it is not severe then it may not need any treatment but it can be self limiting, over all dehydration is matter of concern in diarrhea and vomiting else symptoms are self limiting hope this information helps.
