Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea , Stomach Cramps And Vomiting
hello there. i am doing a project for class and must find a diagnosis for this disease. here are the symptoms: bloody diarrhea, severe stomach cramps, vomiting. it can be found in men or women, in a variety of ages. i am guessing in children ages 6-12 or elderly women. i know for sure it is contagious, but i am not sure if contagious when airborne. please help me.

According to history given it could be severe gastroenteritis , probably infection with shigella or entameba case.
So mostly it seems to be case of dysentery or severe gastroenteritis on preliminary approach.
Stool examination done for whether wbc present or not.
Usually dysentery like infection spread through feco oral route.
If still it is not diagnosis then further work up necessary ex.USG abdomen
