Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea , Vomiting And Dizziness

My husband ate some cheese poppers from walmart deli and within an hour began sweating profusely, dizzy, and vomiting, diarrhea. His heart rate, RR, temp, and pulse are normal. His skin is cool to touch, denies any SOB or chest pain and he is not pale. His BP is borderline 140/90- it looks like food poisoning and going on his 3rd hour of vomiting. He does not want to go to ER. It does not look like cardiac at this point but just uncomfortable not doing anything. Is there anything other than CP or SOB I should be looking for?

Hello. Thanks for putting your query in hcm. I can understand your concerns regarding your husband. Yes he may be suffering from food poisoning . For this I will recommend to give him a course of antibiotic like ofloxacin and ornidazole for 5 days. Give him adequate fluid and electrol powder to prevent fluid and electrolyte insufficiency. I hope this will help him. Wish him a good health.
