Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea

Hi there, I have had diarrhoea for 3 days now. Bowel movement is just a yellow smelly fluid. Feel really dehydrated but drink nearly 3 litres a day. Dry reaching, fever and headaches. Have moved to Alice springs Australia from Wellington NZ, the heat is astronomical here and am always sweating furiously. Is there something at the chemist i can buy?

Hello
I had gone through your question and I can understand your concern
Looking at history this could be due to any of following
gastroenteritis
malabsorption or indigestion

In my opinion you should consult your GP for a stool test and detailed check up
you may require a course of antibiotics like metronidazole under supervision of your doctor

have plenty of fluids including ORS to counter dehydration and electrolyte imbalance produced by diarrhoea and sweating
you can take probiotics

hope this helps you
wish you speedy recovery
regards
