Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I've had diarrhea for the last two days and my stomach has been constantly rolling. I don't feel hungery and haven't eaten much since this started. What I have eaten I have had to force myself to eat. What causes this and what can i do to get rid of it.
Some advices that I can give to you are : -Use over the counter option like Imodium -Avoid spicy foods, fruits, alcohol, and caffeine until 48 hours after all symptoms have disappeared. -Avoid chewing gum that contains sorbitol. -Avoid milk for three days after symptoms disappear. -You can eat cheese or yogurt with probiotics.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
