We don't know, what is the cause for difficulty in swallowing until the examination. Possible causes are 1. Esophagitis. 2. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). 3. Esophageal varices. 4. Pharyngitis etcetera. Please consult your gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
