hi i a piece of food stuck in my chest, but i vomitted it out. However, now i can swallow anything without it building in my chest region even saliva gets stuck and i end up spitting it up, and there is a pain in that region whenever i swallow and stuff builds up.Is there something really wrong here?
I can understand your concern. As the food piece got stuck in your throat, it may have caused some friction and blunt injury in the area that it was stuck. Even if the piece got out, it may take some days for the injured area to heal. Thus, every time you eat or drink, it irritates the already injured and now healing area making you feel uncomfortable, causing pain and spitting it out. You should be fine in a few days.
However, if it does not go away in some days, you might have to visit a physician to look for signs of infection due to the food piece.
