ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, thanks for your query.
Slapping can cause tear in the ear drum.
That is the reason for tinnitus and reduced hearing.
It takes 6 to 8 weeks for the ear drum to heal. Until then, the hearing is reduced.
Audiometry test will also help you to estimate the damage occured.
I would suggest you to consult with the doctor and get evaluated properly.
Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
