Suggest Treatment For Discomfort From Hip Flexor To Knee

I have discomfort on my right side from the hip flexor to the knee. I m very active, yoga, power walking, etc. I eat very healthy and am not overweight at all. This discomfort, not sharp pain is now causing me to go to bed with a heating pad. About 2 years ago, I had many acupuncture treatments and the acupuncturist thought it was a tight IT Band. I think it s more than that now. Any thoughts?

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you are having discomfort in right thigh from hip to knee.It may be muscular pain due to overuse during exercises. Its treatment is rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. Vitamin B andC will be helpful in recovery. However you can get your x ray and MRI of hip and right femur done to know the cause . You can discuss with your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
