Suggest Treatment For Dizziness And Heart Palpitations In An Elderly Person

Hi, I am a 56 year old black femaleather experiencing heart flurting which leaves me feeling light headed and dizzy. During my last Dr visit my blood pressure was slightly elevated but it was believed to be up because I had rushed to the appointment. What should I do?

If you are experiencing chest pain or palpitations then you may need further assessment such as an ECG at least.
This would take a look at the heart rate, heart rhythm, identify if any areas appear enlarged or if there is decreased blood supply to any areas.

Other heart tests can also be done as well such as an echo.

If there is a abnormal heart rate or rhythm, treatment can be initiated depending on the severity and type.
