I had a tooth pulled and implant put in on Monday. was given 2 shots of steroids. 1 for 1st 3 days and 2nd one for next 5 days. On 4th day became dizzy, shaky, nauseated and had to go home. dentist said would last 2 days. this is third day and do not feel any better. when I try to move around feel light headed -- and like legs might give out along with above symptoms. any ideas on how to make it better? Thank you, Sharon
Hello sharon.Read through ur query and accordingly i must say that there is nothing to be worried in this case. Its just as usual to have nausea and drowsiness after steriod intake. It can last a few more days.Be cool nothing to be tensed.Take the medicine as prescribed by ur dentist at right time.Take lots and lots of water to avoid having any dehydration.Reduce sugar intake as steroids will increase blood glucose level(but usually in long term cases).Wait for few more days and after that if it still persists meet up ur dentist and get it treated accordingly.Besides all these stay cool and calm.Happy and cool mind can solve any problems in life. Its the best medicine provided by god.Hope u r benefitted something from this .Have a healthy day!!!
