I am female, 70 and quite healthy until now. I started having worrying dizzy spells - to such extent that it is difficult to keep my balance. Also started sweating at night and the sweat has very unpleasant and unusual (never before like this) smell. What should I do and what can be the reason of it?
Many of your symptoms are related to underlying autonomic dysfunction.
This will cause symptoms like dizzy spells and disordered sweating. It's advisable to consider few important tests and to determine further course of action.
Complete cardiac evaluation is required through 2D echo, ECG, serum electrolytes at the earliest.
Antihypertensive medications can correct the dizziness to a large extent.
Monitor your blood pressure and sugar well.
Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these medications to you.
Post your further queries if any. Thank you
