Hi….
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC...
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...
According to your description you might have a hypertrophic scar/keloid. This appears when an unusual condition produced because of severely injured soft-tissues and any
injury heals with inflammation and scarring. There is a deposit of excess
collagen which results in the lumpy feel. Most hypertrophic
scars may undergo partial spontaneous resolution, but it might take a couple of months. It is not an infection.
I will advise you:-
•Choose a product that contains only safe and natural ingredients, such as licorice,
vitamin C, and
aloe vera, and does not contain dangerous chemicals like
hydroquinone. Be sure to apply the product directly to your skin so that it helps in healing scar.
•Avoid exposing your healing scar to the sun’s UV rays, as this can cause darkening or discoloration of the scar, which can be permanent.
•Massaging the scar, getting plenty of exercise, avoiding
smoking, and eating a healthy diet rich in vitamins A and C, protein, and zinc will all help the scar heal faster and better.
Hope this answers your question. If you have any additional questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your question.
Wish you good health.
Thanks & Regards,
Dr.Shiwani
