Hi Pramod. Melacare has mometsone and mometasone should not be used for a long time. It has many side effects. On long term use, melacare might increase the pigmentation, rather than improving it. Here is one link to make you aware of issues associated with long term use of mometasone, a mid potent steroid. https://www.facebook.com/pages/No-steroid-cream-on-face-without-a-Dermatologists-prescription/246358225435319
Stop melacare immediately. Use kojic acid 2% twice daily. Its not gonna work as fast as melacare, but it has no side effect. Add a good quality moisturizer like cetaphil or dewsoft. Avoid soap or face wash and use a syndet based cleanser like cetaphil cleansing lotion. You should understand that all this are temporary measures. I think you should consult a dermatologist to allow assessment of damages due to prolong melacare use. Hope it helps
