Suggest Treatment For Dry Cough Caused By BP Medication
I have a sensitivity to Lisinopril 20mg. Dry Cough is main problem. I recently was switched to Benicar 20mg. It is also causing a dry cough. I have a 2 week check up visit since on Benicar 20mg. I don't want to continue Benicar. What blood pressure med would you suggest?

Lisinopril(A C E inhibitor) can cause dry cough to some persons.
Your doctor is right .
He has changed a right medicine Benicar( Olmesartan ,an A R B inhibitor).
If you do not wish to take this medicine due to any reason ,your doctor would prescribe other medicine of same group e.g; losartan,telmasartan,candisartan,valsartan,irbisartan.
if your cough not controlled, take treatment for cough.
