My eye Dr said he can't do anything until now there is no solution for this problem. i told him to remove my catract maybe i can see better. he said it will affect my other eye if he did the catract. i close my right eyes and look in my left eyes and i can see lights. is there any solutions and good doctor to solve this problem.
HI.. Welcome to HCM.. Thanks for the query.. Optic nerve damage carries a guarded visual prognosis always.. You vision in left eye might have been less even before the cataract developed.. In such case we need to wait for the cataract to be mature before we proceed for surgery so that you will get benefited by the surgery a little. But it doesn't effect the other eye. For dry eyes you can use lubricating eye drops in both eyes. You can take a second opinion from a neurophthalmologist if you want.. Hope this information is helpful to you.. will be available for further queries. Take care..
