I am a 24 year old male living in the mountains of the western states. I am descendant from English/ Swedish/Dutch heritage. 6'1 about 235lbs and i know little about my medical history regarding skin.
My question is regarding Dry skin on sensitive areas of my body. I have dandruff on my scalp rather badly since about age 14. I have used many kinds of shampoo but the only one that seems to do any serious help is called Neutrogena T Sal. only twice a week it seems to end all the itching and dandruff very well. I have a dry red patch across the back right of my scalp that when I get a haircut most of Cosmetologists seems to touch it and ask me if it hurts. The red sore area of my scalp began as about the size of a quarter just on the right side where the skull bumps of my lower scalp. Now it covers the entire back of my head and is beginning to affect behind my right ear just recently. This makes me nervous as it seems to be spreading slowly.

In addition to my scalp problems i have dry skin on my knuckles as well as entirely on my testicles. It does not seem to affect my penis. I can care for it and treat it with lotions, oils, and creams but it never seems to last more than 24 hrs. I have found that when I sweat and after intercourse with my wife it can be painful and dry out very badly. It is very unpleasant and can get so dry it bleeds regularly if i don't care for it. Please any advice is welcome. RN
