Suggest Treatment For Dry Skin Patches On The Hand

Hello, I have growing patches of dry skin on my hand. It started in between the fingers and has grown across the knuckles. Sometimes the patches look like rashes and domes they are a block of red. The skin always feels dry and tough compared to the skin outside the patches. It is only occurring on one hand. My skin is not normally sensitive to fragrances but now the patches burn even if I used non fragranced hand cream.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi, Looks like you have Allergic contact dermatitis to some agent.
I would adv you to visit a dermatologist for evaluation once, and patch testing to identify the culprit, and management accordingly.
The treatment comprises of topical steroids of adequate potency according to the disease severity, an antihistamine like tab Cetrizine 10 mg at bedtime and an emollient like moisturex soft cream and avodance of the allergen.
Thanks
Take care
