Suggest Treatment For Dry Throat And Stiff Neck

i chewed snuff for 20 years. i quit nine months ago due to acid reflux. The Hietel hernia is gone, I feel night and day better. Yet, I am not relaxing, i am still tense, my throat is dry a lot and i have a stiff neck that wont go away. I didn t have cancer two years ago but i am seriously paranoid with all the WWW.WWWW.WW on the TV. Can you tell me i am okay? The ENT looked at my throat and said i was fine nine months ago but the feeling is like rocks down lower in the throat/neck. He suggests the $900 scope that i don t have insurance for. I am trying to lose weight but i feel like yuck all the time. I think there is a question in here somewhere.... help?

Hello,

As long as you are not loosing weight, there is no reason to think about cancer or tumor. The stiff neck could be related to chronic degenerations of the cervical spine. Anxiety may trigger all this situation too. For this reason, I would recommend performing a cervical spine X-ray study and performing regular physical activity to help reinforce your back muscles.
