Seen by a regular on call doctor for war discomfort for having water in my ear. I was given drops. After several days the pain increased. Saw an ENT who told me to stop the drops and take steroids. I did stop the drops but did not take the steroids. the pain went away. About a month later the pain and fullness returned so I went back to the same ENT and he found there was a hard crust that formed over the ear drum. He stated this was the hardened ear drops. He used what felt like a sharp instrument and removed what was laying on my eardrum then used some sort of vacuum. This was a very painful procedure and I left in a lot of discomfort. I am still in pain. I called back and he told me to use a blow dryer? I blow dry my hair daily this made absolutely so sense. I am being seen tomorrow July 16th. Would you go back to this doctor or see someone else?
