Suggest Treatment For Ear Block And White Spots On Tonsils

Hi,

My left ear has been blocked on and off for a week with no pain and yest i woke up to white spots on my tonsils but no sore throat. I have been a severe sufferer of tonsilitus as a child so know the normal symptoms but I have no fever, no pain just the spots. My tonsils are bigger than normal due to the amount I had it early in life.

I hate taking antibiotics as am allergic to most so not sure what to do or what it is

Intermittant blockage of ear can be due to eustachian tube dysfunction, post common cold.fluid behind ear, allergic rhinitis. Differential diagnoses of white spots in tonsils include follicular tonsilitis, candidiasis.During the initial stages of follicular tonsillitis the food particles and desquamated debris form white spots in tonsils. When these obstruct the crypts of tonsils, secondary bacterial infection can occur leading to follicular tonsillitis. So you may be in early stage of infection, start on warm salt water gargles 3-4 times a day if no relief then try betadine gargles
