Hi my son who is 15 years old has a cold dor 10 days now. Doctor advised to do nasal rinse 2x daily and now his ears are blocked. He is so mesirable. He has asthma, and decongestant dries his cough. Took him to urgent care and dr said no ear infection. But prescribed anti biotic, and use take sida fed. Is it necessary, to take both meds. Thanks for your time.
Hi, It seems that he might be having upper respiratory tract infection producing congestion in the ears and nose. Continue with antibiotic and sudafed. Sudafed will remove congestion and he will be relieved of cld and nasal block. Give him Vicks vapor inhalation. Avoid cold drinks and junk food. Ok and take care.
