Hi,thank you for posting your query on health care magic.

Looking at your symptoms, you might be suffering from two possibilities:
1.)Viral infection of the vestibular nerve for the balance in the inner ear(Vestibular neuritis)
2.) Eustachian tube blockage due to cold-it is a tube which connects the middle ear with the nose and is responsible for equalization of middle ear pressure with the outer atmospheric pressure. In case of this tube blockage due to cold,it results in negative middle ear pressure which may result in fluid collection in the middle ear giving the sensation of ear blockage.

You may find relief by taking the following medication:
Oral decongestant like Phenylephrine,Nasal decongestant drops like Xylometazoline,Antihistaminic like Cetrizine,Antivertigo medication like Betahistine.

Also do steam inhalation.Avoid cold food and dust.Drink lots of warm fluids.

If your complains are not improving in 2-3 days, then it would be advisable to consult an Otolaryngologist doctor.

Hope this answers your question.Take care.
