Suggest Treatment For Ear Discomfort Post Showering
I have an ear issue, but no pain. Especially after showers and trying to remove water from the ear. I recently purchased an endoscope and noticed that one eardrum IS NOT like the other. One is obviously healthy and the other looks dried up and similar to beef jerky. It doesn t appear to be a wax blockage. Where can I send photos for a possible analysis?

Suggest Treatment For Ear Discomfort Post Showering
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Eardrum is not healthy means it is a middle ear infection or Eustachian tube block or secondary fungal infection. It may be retracted tympanic membrane. Avoid cool drinks and freeze water avoid smoking and alcohol. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly. Take care.
