Hello dear,
After going through your history, I believe you have some genuine concern and I will try to help you out of this situation.

Ear discharge in 99% case occurs due to infection in the ear which leads to breach in the ear drum. In small child like yours it invariably occur when babies are fed in lying position.

For understanding your problem you have to first understand the anatomic relation of ear and nose. Please click on the following link.

The space behind the ear drum (Middle ear) is connected to the behind of nose through a slender tube called as Eustachian tube. It drains the fluid from the middle ear to the nose and supplies air from the nose to the ear.

Any inflammation in the nose and Eustachian tube affects the function, so fluid accumulates inside the ear. But drainage is compromised, it creates a rent in the ear drum and the fluid drains out.

To make the tube work properly, your doctor might have prescribed the nasal spray, but for small child, spray containing MOMETASONE ( M spray/ Momeflow) is advised.

Regarding tonsils, usuall both tonsils are affected which not possible without opening the mouth and the swelling in the neck is due to enlargement of the LYMPH NODE in the neck, which suggest the inflammation in the tonsils might be high. So you should consult your ENT specialist as soon as possible.

I hope I could solve your query. Please do not hesitate to clarify more doubts for the same situation.

Thank you for the way you are in my life.
