Well upper respiratory infection seems to have gone chronic. Ear, nose and throat are connected and the infection in one causes trouble in any or both of other organs mostly.

Adenoids might have also infected because of ENT infection. Many times these become suppurative too. Adenoids may catch tuberculous infection too.

So if doctor has already prescribed antibiotics and response is good, pl continue it or request him to reconsider alternative. I feel antibiotics might not be controlling infection now and surgeon has advised adenoidectomy.

If at all need is felt Ayurveda has a remedy called Sarivadi vati, made of polyherbal formulation, to counter such issues where antibiotics fail or immunity is weak. But first priority should be given to correction of acute phase by allopathic medicine.

Sarivadi vati helps to remove ear infection and some other issues of throat, nose etc when given with different other herbomineral medicines. It creates immunity also. Similarly Chitrak Haritaki medicine plays a significant role. But all these are slow acting though super safe, no side effects.

Contrarily ear infections do not go easily though allopathy may give fast relief every time. It keeps going on. But I am not against Allopathic medicine. It saves life in acute cases.

If you agree and feel the need after your attempts at ENT surgeon, may consult by direct question anytime in future.

Hope it helps.
