Suggest Treatment For Ear Pain

On Monday of this week I went to the doctors with pain in my left ear , he prescribed Otomize. He said both ears were red inside and to put these ear drops in 3 times a day in both ears. I now have humming in both ears and they still feel sore , I can t seem to hear properly and my head feels funny. Don t feel with it at all.

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have pain in ears along with redness and hearing loss . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergic reaction , ear canal dermatitis , otitis media and Psoriasis . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again as your are experiencing hearing loss and humming noise that is tinnitus . Doctor will examine with otoscope and order CT scan . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( gentamicin ) , anti histamine and supplement like ginkgo biloba . For now take benadryl twice a day a, keep your ear dry and apply warm compresses to external ear .
