Suggest Treatment For Ear/throat Pain While Having Redness On Palatoglossal Arch

I have right palatoglossal arch redness for a few days...the pain is getting worse (constant and pretty extreme when I swallow or yawn) then I started ear ache on the right side. The ear pain is increasing and so as the throat pain. What should I do? I have been gargling salt water but doesn t seem to help. thanks!

hello, thanks for your query, redness of palatoglossal arch suggests active infection. radiating ear pain is common in throat infection, because both share same nerve supply.you need to evaluate with an ent surgeon, requires antibiotics and pain killers to control the infection. hope i have answered your query. all the best. take care.
