Hello,
Thank you for asking at HCM.
I went through your niece's history and would like to make suggestions for you as follows:
1. For
eczema, treatment is usually topical
corticosteroids when she has eczema symptoms. The procedure of applying them is also perfect, to be applied immediately after bathing.
2. I would like to add that please continue them at least until after a week of cure of eczema symptoms.
3. I would also suggest her to apply moisturizing lotion immediately after bathing once treatment is complete. This will improve dryness of her skin and improve itching.
4. If is eczema is recurrent, I would suggest her
allergy testing for common food allergens like milk, peanut, egg, wheat, soy, sea food and air borne allergens like house dust mites, mold, etc.
This will help you identify the allergens causing eczema to her.
5. For symptom relief of itching, I would suggest her to take an antihistamine like
hydroxyzine before going to bed,
Hope above suggestions will be helpful to her.
Should you have any further query, please feel free to ask at HCM.
Wish her the best of the health ahead.
Thank you & Regards.
