General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Liver enzymes can get elevated due to bad diet (fatty foods, spicy foods), alcohol intake, some medicine use (most of the painkillers), gallbladder diseases (like gallstones), liver viral infection (HBV, HCV infection).

As your GGT level has raised again, you should rule out other than diet possible reasons for its elevation. GGTP, AP, amylase, lipase, urine amylase, HBsAg, Anti-HCV levels should be checked. An abdominal ultrasound should be also done.

You should avoid fatty foods, fried foods, spicy foods, alcohol, medicines. Liver improving supplements available without prescription can be also helpful in its regeneration.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
