Is this something that can be treated and have him back to normal or is this something I should be afraid May take my sons life?
Hi.Elevated heart rate is secondary to the regurgitation process being operated in the heart. This can be corrected with drugs like beta blockers which can reduce the heart rate.Drugs like inotropes will help to increase the pumping function of the heart. The overall outcome depends on the other associated medical comorbities. Thank you.
