Suggest Treatment For Endometrial Hyperplasia

Hi. I am curious if the only treatment for endometrial hyperplasia with both simple and complex with atypia cells is a hysterectomy? My doctor told me everything will be removed including both ovaries. I am 55 and still having normal periods. I feel fine with no symptoms except a 4mm cyst was found on one ovary during MRI and hyperplasia with atypia during in office biopsy.
